As was reported recently. Tir Mara will be hosting Their Majesties in Ruantallan on the 30th of this month.

To honour all those visiting Tir Mara and in respect due to the Crowns of the East Kingdom,  Lady Juliana and her staff will endeavor to provide all with a hearty day board in the Norse and Anglo Saxon styles. Feast in the later day is to honour Herne the Hunter, as only Ruantallan can do, and show Their Majesties how “Ruantallanites” celebrate. (more…)

Youth Combatants Inspire Ladies of the Rose at Crown

At Her Majesty’s whim, a Youth Rose Tournament was held before Crown Tournament this past weekend. For those unfamiliar with youth combat, it is run much in the style of adult combat. Each fighter was sponsored by a Lady of the Rose, or a few Ladies of the Rose. The tourney was run as a bear pit. When a fighter won a bout he brought his Rose or Roses a rose, and returned to the list to fight the next combatant. The honor and chivalry of the young fighters was so inspiring that it caused Baroness Aneleda to set words to paper in commemoration.

Baron to Knight to Prince in a Day

Brennan mac Fearghus started last Saturday as a Baron.  Before he’d fought his first bout in Crown Tourney, he was a knight.  By evening he was a prince.  These photographs show his journey and that of Baroness Caoilfhionn inghean Fhaoláin, his wife, who ended the day as Princess of the East.

Carolingian Baronial Court at Crown Tourney

Their Royal Majesties Kenric and Avelina were gracious enough to allow their Excellencies Carolingia, Fergus and Imiglia an interval during Their court at this past weekend’s Crown Tournament to conduct some Baronial business. What follows is an unofficial report of the proceedings.

Lord Hugh Tauerner and Lady Ysane la Fileresse presented Their Excellencies with two hand-knit Baronial coronets in blue and gold to become part of the Carolingian Regalia. Their Excellencies immediately donned these new coronets and wore them for the rest of Court.
