Greetings Unto the Eastern Populace from Mistress Ysemay Sterlyng:
I sent the following letter out via email on Tuesday to all the contacts for award recipients. I would also like to reach out to the populace at large in case I missed anyone +- or if someone may have additional questions about awards that were scheduled during Her Majesty Margarita’s reign.
If anyone would like to reach out to me about award scheduling for Queen Margarita, please feel free to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org
I hope that you are well, and all of your loved ones are safe in this difficult time. Unfortunately, given the current reality in our world, Her Majesty and Their Highnesses have had to make difficult decisions regarding event and award scheduling.
They want to ensure that all the amazing Easterners are recognized for their outstanding contributions to the Kingdom. However, they also need to ensure that such recognition is done safely to protect our valiant populace.
With that in mind, They have decided that all Eastern Events will be canceled through the end of June. At this point, they have not rescheduled any events or awards.
Her Majesty and Their Highnesses are working together to create a new plan for the future. As we progress through this pandemic and see how it unfolds, rescheduling awards will happen. Unfortunately, given the current uncertainty in the region, such decisions simply cannot be made at this time.
So, rather than continuing to reschedule and cancel events, Her Majesty and Their Highnesses are monitoring the situation and staying in close communication.
We all know this is a difficult time. Please understand that these decisions were not made lightly, but rather made out of love and concern for the populace.
When the situation changes, I will reach out again to you with new information. Until then, please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.
Ysemay Sterlyng, OL
