Open Positions with the SCA 50 Year Celebration

SCA shieldThe SCA will be celebrating its 50th anniversary at the SCA 50 Year Celebration in central Indiana the summer of 2016. The event stewards for this momentous event are seeking assistance from all corners of the Society and have invited the populace to apply for the following openings on the event staff.

Historic Display Chair

Description: This person is responsible for the identifying, collection, and display of items of historic value within the Society for Creative Anachronism. These shall include items from all Kingdoms and periods of the Society’s history. Will also be responsible for the return of such items.
Requirements: Organization, organization, organization. Well developed network of contacts within the Society. Library or museum skills a plus. Must have the ability to develop a budget and stick to it. Grace under pressure is a forte.
Will report to: Master Llewellyn ap Teirnon, event co-steward.
Must coordinate with Archivist, Historian, Shield Wall Coordinator and Official Photographer.

Submit application including SCA and modern resume by May 15, 2014 to Baroness Odile de Brienne.

Archivist

Description: This person will be responsible for aiding the Historic Display Chair in the creation and setting up of the historic Display for SCA 50 Year Celebration. In addition, they will be responsible for preparing and traveling with and/or sending a subset of the Historic Display to events as denoted by the Board of Directors after the 50 Year Celebration in Sternfeld is completed. Will also be responsible for the return of such items.
Will report to: Master Llewellyn ap Teirnon, event co-steward.
Must coordinate with Historic Display, Historian, Shield Wall Coordinator, and Official Photographer.
Submit application including SCA and modern resume by May 15, 2014 to Baroness Odile de Brienne.
