Good afternoon, East Kingdom!
As we come up on the June 1st return to in-person events, I have a few reminders.
Events must be approved in writing by both your branch and regional seneschals. Events must follow the 8 points from Society about what is/is not allowed, as well as the Kingdom’s requirements regarding your event’s safety plans. Please do not just say, “We’ll follow our state’s requirements.” Please be specific about HOW you will follow those guidelines. Details are on the East Kingdom Seneschal’s webpage.
These requirements apply to events, as defined by gatherings larger than a fight practice or a branch’s A&S gathering — events that you’ll be advertising beyond your local branch, which will attract attendees from beyond your local branch, and so on
If you have any questions, please contact me or your regional seneschal for guidance.
I meant to say in Court but forgot — I encourage branches to return with small events, perhaps single-focus events, and use them as test-runs for your safety plans. The more successful we are in smaller & safe events, the more confidence we’ll have as we scale up to larger events in the months ahead.
I am so excited to see people in person at events again!
