A Message from the Tyger Clerk of the Signet

March 11, 2020 by East Kingdom Gazette

badge East Tyger Clerk of the SignetGood afternoon scribes,

In light of the current COVID-19 concerns, I’d like to share some guidance regarding scrolls for the current and upcoming reign.

It is expected that there will be some cases in which the recipients, scrolls, or both do not make it to the intended event, or the event is canceled altogether.

Please do not worry about having the “wrong” date on a scroll that has to be rescheduled. Scribes are free to use the current scheduled event information (from the assignment email). No one should feel that their scroll is “wrong” just because the recipient and the scroll did not connect at the original event. It will be appreciated just the same.

If a scroll is unlikely to make it to the event it was scheduled for, please let us (the Signet and Emergency Deputy) know so we can alert the reign staff. This process helps us track and properly record awards in the OP and, if necessary, the Backlog office. We will work with you to make sure your scroll gets to the award recipient.

If you need to ship a scroll and it is an issue (due to either cost or time or anything else), please let the Signet office know and we will help you.

If you have questions, please feel free to email me and my Emergency Deputy (signet@eastkingdom.org, signet_emergency@eastkingdom.org), the Regional Deputies, or any of the other Signet Deputies. They are here to help.

I will update you all as soon as I can should anything change.

Thank you all for your hard work.

In Service,

Eva Woderose

Tyger Clerk of the Signet
