East Victorious in Lightly Attended War

August 2, 2013 by East Kingdom Gazette

PW42BannerAs most attendees pack up and head for home, Mistress Kayleigh McWhyte reports that the East Kingdom has claimed the majority of war points and is victorious in the 42nd Pennsic War.

This year’s Pennsic war ends at noon on Saturday, a day earlier than it has closed in the past, with an unofficial actual attendance of 9,913 people on-site. This is the lowest attendance since Pennsic 23 (1994), when the attendance was 9221. The last time the official attendance was below 10,000 was Pennsic 27 (1998) when the official Pennsic attendance is listed as 9,999. (All attendance numbers listed, except this year’s number, are sourced from the official Pennsic War website.)
