The East Kingdom Gazette is always on the lookout for new ways to serve it’s readership.  Above is an experimental Google Map to allow our readers to see what is going on in the Kingdom, where and when. Click on a bubble to see the title of the event.  Click on the event title to take you to that event’s East Kingdom Web Site event listing.  Events on the same weekend are the same color bubble, so you can easily see what your options are for any weekend in the month.
Don’t let November pass you by without attending an event!

I love the map. It makes it easy to figure out how long a drive to an event will be

I think this is great. I do have a suggestion, you are using colors to break down the weekends, again I think is a good idea. Are we limited to the “balloon” icon for the events? Is it possible to use say a “star” as a royal progress event and leave the coloration as to what weekend it is?

I just moved from the Kingdom of Meridies, where someone maintains a map just like this. It is a great boon when trying to decide what to attend based on distance constraints. Hail! whoever decided to do it here where the land-mass of travel is quite significant.
