SCA.org Hosting a Digital Talent Search

Okay, so we piqued your interest and you clearly want more! Coming in July and August, we’re going to host a digital talent search! If you’re a performer or group of performers in the fields of oration (storytelling / poetry), vocal music, instrumental music, or theater, we’re going to give you an opportunity to share your talents with the Known World.
“How can I get ready for the awesomeness that is a Known World-wide bardic competition?” Easy! Select your three best period or SCA-related pieces of 5 minutes or less. Record them on video and be ready to upload them to YouTube. We’ll take the first submissions next month and we’ve got a panel of celebrity guest judges who will be helping us pick the best. The winner of the three-stage competition will get some great prizes and have their work prominently featured on sca.org!
We’ll release more details soon! Please share this with anyone who might be a potential entrant as well as your local kingdoms and groups!
