Thanks to a stalwart crew of volunteers, the entire archery range was set up on Monday, July 27, in about 3 hours!
As he did last year, Lord Casimir Sarkastyczny has created an archery-specific schedule for the War:
Peace
Week archery was staffed for limited hours each day, and several archery marshal meetings have been held.
The whole range was used today (Saturday, August 1) for Ullr’s Games, a day of novelty shoots, each sponsored by a different kingdom. The best performance overall was by Master Rupert the Unbalanced, formerly of the East and now in Trimaris, and he received a fine slate “scroll” for his efforts.
The East’s team for the Head-to-Head Heroic Champions Competition is:
- Magnus Surtsson, Captain and Alternate
- Ivarr Valsson
- Ryan Mac Whyte
- Krakken Gnashbone
- Kusunoki Yoshimoto
- Peter the Red
Peter has withdrawn, so Magnus will be shooting.
This war point is scheduled for Sunday, August 2, at 9am but weather forecasts indicate it may need to be postponed.
Other Sunday archery scheduled but at the mercy of the weather includes the 12th Annual Pennsic Period Shoot and the first day of Populace War Points.
