Court Of Their Majesties Matthias And Æsa Feilinn
at A Market Day At Birka
In public consistory, at the time of the solemn and royal court held at the Barony of Stonemarche, a brilliant assembly of dukes, counts and barons being in session, and a very great multitude of nobles and commoners standing before the most serene lord Matthias, King of the East, and Æsa feilinn, the Queen, for the purpose of exhibiting the fullness of justice to each person, the said king and the said queen, according to law, did do and cause to be done the following:
Item: Their Majesties summoned Um Ishaq Sara bint Abu Zakariya to stand before the Tyger Thrones, whereupon they inducted the said Sara into the Order of the Silver Tyger, as attested in a document created by Marcus Attilus Pansa.
Item: The Order of the Silver Tyger being as of yet incomplete, Their Majesties called Jadin Tenax to attend upon them, whereupon they inducted the said Jadin into the aforenamed Order, the which deed was memorialized in a document created by Harold von Auerbach.
Item: Their Majesties then requested the presence of Sakurai Tatsuko, and the said Tatsuko so appearing, they caused her to be added to the rolls of the Order of the Silver Rapier, as memorialized in a scroll created by Collette d’Avignon and Anna Elizabeth de Valladolid.
Item: Their Majesties sent Brenden Crane to sit vigil to contemplate whether he would join the Order of the Pelican.
Item: Their Majesties called upon Llewellyn Walsh to approach the thrones, whereupon they inducted him into the Order of the Silver Mantle, as attested in a document memorialized by Guðrún Hafgrímsdottír.
Item: Their Majesties summoned Röskva mac Cianain, called Widowmaker, into the Court, whereupon they ordained that she join the Order of the Tygers Combattant, and raised a stone in her honor crafted by Olaf Haraldson.
Item: Their Majesties called into their presence the good man Gabriel Roberts and thereupon inducted him into the Order of the Golden Rapier, as attested in a document created by Magdalena von Kirschberg.
Item: Their Majesties sent Talan ap Gueiluirth to sit vigil and contemplate whether he would join the Order of the Chivalry.
Their Majesties then adjourned their court until two hours after the bell of noon, whereupon they transacted the following business:
Item: Their Majesties requested the presence of Noah Wick, and the said Noah so appearing, accompanied by his family and good friends, their Majesties Awarded him Arms and caused him to be inducted into the Order of the Silver Wheel, as memorialized in a document created by Aurelia Colleoni a’Buccafurno.
Item: Their Majesties then called for Adam of the Curved Sword and inducted him into the Order of the Silver Rapier and awarded him Arms, as attested in a document created by Liadan ingen Chineada.
Whereupon Their Majesties again adjourned their Court until the hour of Vespers, when they assembled in great state with their Heirs, the Princes of Tir Mara, and conducted the following business:
Item: Their Majesties welcomed as guests their royal cousins of Ealdormere, King Baldric and Queen Breyla.
Item: Their Majesties and Their Highnesses of Tir Mara exchanged gifts with the King and Queen of Ealdormere.
Item: Their Majesties welcomed the Baron and Baroness of Stonemarche and permitted them to conduct such business as was needful.
Item: Their Majesties and Their Highnesses exchanged gifts with the Baron and Baroness of Stonemarche.
Item: Their Majesties being well pleased that the King of Ealdormere having spent all day fighting and training with the youth of the East Kingdom, they presented His Majesty Baldric of Ealdormere, known as Baldric Leeman of Newcastle Emlyn, with the Award of the Rabbit in the Moon.
Item: Their Majesties renewed the treaty of amity, friendship and alliance with the Kingdom of Acre, and bade Their Majesties of Acre to meet with them again at Mudthaw.
Item: Their Majesties announced that Cacht Mhòr inghean Mhic An Mhadaidh and Sile Dhubh inghean Mhic an Mhadaidh will be invested as the new Baronesses of Isle de Dragon Dormant when their Majesties travel to those lands in February.
Item: Their Majesties summoned Robert Tytes to appear before them and, when he finally presented himself, endowed him with the Award of Durga for the ferocity, prowess and joy he had shown in the rapier lists that day.
Item: Their Majesties requested the attendance of Aster Crane and, praising their skills at woodcarving, endowed the said Aster with the Award of Gilder.
Item: Their Majesties charged Röskva mac Cianain with the running of the Toybox, to the enormous delight of the crowd and the children of the East.
Item: Having taken much amusement from the writings of The SCAllion and willing and wishing that such amusement should always find a welcome home in the East, their Majesties issued a Writ of Protection and Abetment to The SCAllion for the duration of their reign.
Item: Their Majesties summoned Spraki Joarsson and, the said Spraki duly appearing in response to their summons, they Awarded him Arms and inducted him into the Order of the Silver Wheel, as attested in a document created by Leonete d’Angely.
Item: Their Majesties, finding the Order of the Silver Wheel to be as yet incomplete, requested that Trian Ó Bruadair present himself, whereupon they welcomed him back to the East and endowed him with the Order aforenamed, as memorialized in a document created Keziah Planchet.
Item: Their Majesties welcomed Fiammetta di Terra del Sole into their Court and Awarded her Arms, as memorialized in a document created by Anne de Bassilion.
Item: Their Majesties called Finna da Vicari to stand before the Tyger Thrones, whereupon they Awarded her Arms, as memorialized in a document created by Harod von Auerbach.
Item: Their Majesties requested the presence of Christiana Crane, and the said Christiana so appearing, they praised her many good works and inducted her into the Order of the Silver Crescent, as attested in a document authored by Matt Wyck, calligraphed by Anna Mickel von Salm, and illuminated by Quentus Quintillius Mortis.
Item: Their Majesties summoned Safiya al-Naghira before the Tyger Thrones, whereupon they caused her name to be written upon the rolls of the Order of the Silver Crescent, as attested in a document created by Sitt al-Gharb ha-niqret and Grimolfr Skulason inn jarlsbani.
Item: Their Majesties requested the appearance of Tauq the Scraeling of Eldvatten, whereupon they Awarded him Arms, as requested in a document authored by Dankwert Bathory and calligraphed and illuminated by Hugoline the Delicate.
Item: Their Majesties called Isabel del Oaks into the Court and served upon her a Writ to answer whether she would join the Order of the Laurel, to be answered at Their Majesties’ Court in Quintavia in March.

Item: Their Majesties called Faelynn of Malagentia before the Court and both Awarded her Arms and endowed her with the Order of the Silver Brooch, as attested in a document created by Collete d’Avignon.
Item: Their Majesties then summoned Dunlaíth ingean Donnchada, whereupon they endowed her with the Order of the Silver Brooch, as attested in a document created by Eamon Grey.
Item: The Order of the Silver Brooch being yet incomplete, Their Majesties requested the presence of Amée le Mort and added her name as a Companion of the aforesaid order, as memorialized in a document created by Anna Mickel von Salm and Maxton Gunn.
Item: The Order aforenamed being even as yet incomplete, Their Majesties commanded Perez ben Meir Gershon to present himself and be invested with the Order of the Silver Brooch, as memorialized in a document writ in his native tongue, calligraphed and illuminated by Fiona O Maille.
Item: Their Majesties took testimony from worthy persons of the Realm concerning the merits of Cristoff Gockerhan von Loch, also known as Hillarius Clock Werk, and having determined the worth of the said Clock Werk, caused him to be inducted into the Order of the Pelican, as memorialized in a document created by Ranka Otsdottir and Thyra Eriksdotter.
Item: Their Majesties summoned Talan ap Gueiluirth to stand before the Tyger Thrones and answer the question put to him, and the said Talan answering in the affirmative, they invested and endowed him as a Knight of the Society, adorned with belt, chain and spurs, as attested in a document created by Syrine al-Sakina bint Houriya.
Item: Their Majesties and Their Highnesses thanked the people of Stonemarche for their hard work and hospitality once again at this Market Day festival.
