Announcement from Their Highnesses
Good evening!
Coronation is upon us! With her Majesty, Queen Margarita’s blessing, Their Highnesses Tindal and Alberic will assume the Tyger Thrones on Saturday August 15, AS LV.
As mentioned previously, the Consules will be pre-recording awards with various meetings on Thursday evenings to then be included in their Ethereal Court. These meetings will be posted both on the Online Calendar of Activities found here: https://www.eastkingdom.org/
I will also be sending them out via the Order Discussion Lists. If you are not subscribed to your Order’s discussion list, I encourage you to do so. It will be the easiest way for us to share information with you regarding coming meetings. To subscribe, please follow this link: https://lists.eastkingdom.org/
1) Please make sure your display name is your SCA name. If you are unsure how to change it, there’s a great tutorial with screenshots here: https://teaching.nmc.edu/
2) We will let you know when we are about to begin recording. When we are recording, we ask all those with non-speaking parts (i.e everyone but the Crown, herald, and recipient) mute their microphones. This limits the risk of excess noise, or possible interruption by unexpected sources (thank you, dogs). If you are on a computer, you can use the “push to talk” feature, by pressing and holding down your spacebar. When you release it, it will automatically mute you again.
Note: It is perfectly okay, and encouraged, to join the Zoom meeting if you are unable to wear garb or be on camera. We want to create the camaraderie an atmosphere similar to an event, and just having you be with us will help with that.
