Pennsic 48 Archery – Day 1 Populace Shoots
This year, a fourth Populace Shoot has been added. In addition to the clout, advancing soldier and castle window (untimed), there is now a friend/foe shoot. This shoot has long been a part of the Champions Team Competition, but now everyone gets to try it. It is timed, and there are negative points for hitting the “friendly” part of the image.
Here are the results for the first day of shooting:
East and Allies | Middle and Allies | |||
Day 1 | Points | Archers | Points | Archers |
Castle Window | 472 | 121 | 444 | 106 |
Advancing Soldier | 820 | 113 | 1184 | 170 |
Clout | 418 | 70 | 571 | 78 |
Friend/Foe | 188 | 56 | 178 | 64 |
The Populace War Point Shoots take place over 5 days:
Sunday, August 4 | 11 am – 5 pm |
Monday, August 5 | 11 am – 5 pm |
Wednesday, Aug. 7 | 11 am – 5 pm |
Thursday, August 8 | 11 am – 7 pm |
Friday, August 9 | 9 am – noon |
Archers may shoot each of the four populace War Points up to a maximum of 5 times – either once on each day the range is open, or by shooting multiple times on fewer days. Please note that the Populace War Point shooting is CLOSED on Tuesday, because the Archery Champions Team Competition uses the whole range.
Every archer of any level of skill or experience can score war points. Come out to the range and make a difference!
