East Kingdom 50 Year Memorial Garden
To Absent Friends
As we celebrate and revel in the best of the East Kingdom at the 50 Year Celebration, the staff wishes to remember those who have come before us and honor those who have gone on. There will be a Memorial Garden that will serve as a contemplative space for all those who wish a time to come and remember, sit quietly, and view some of those Easterners who have built us up, made us better, and whose names and faces will live on in the East as the pillars of the dream that we strive to create.
This space will be adjacent to the Town Center and will feature pictures of our absent friends. If you wish to contribute to the project, please see the information below. Please use the Memorial Garden contemplatively and respectfully. We hope you will bring your families to share the rich history that the East has woven, but we also request that there be no unaccompanied children in the garden.
The staff would ask that if you have pictures of those who have come before, that you please send them to Mistress Lucie, erin . neuhardt (at) gmail (dot) com. All pictures should be received no later than Monday, June 25th. Please put EK 50 Year or Memorial Garden in the subject.
