A&S Champs 2024: Event Display

August 2, 2024 by East Kingdom Gazette

On March 2, 2024, the East Kingdom Arts and Sciences Champions Competition was held in the Shire of Quintavia. The display hall was filled with excited artisans and impressive projects that covered a wide array of A&S disciplines. With 22 competition entrants and 18 display entrants who came from all corners of the kingdom, this year’s event was truly a celebration of Eastern A&S prowess.

Judges hard at work

The first round of the competition lasted from late morning to mid-afternoon. Artisans met with their judges to discuss their projects, and the judges then used the East Kingdom A&S rubric to evaluate each entrant’s work. After every entrant had gone through the first round of judging, scores were tabulated, and five finalists were announced. Each finalist then met with Their Majesties, Their Highnesses, and members of the MoAS staff in individual interviews. Finalists discussed their projects and their vision for the role of an A&S champion.
