And the new Bardic Champions are…

February 3, 2013 by East Kingdom Gazette

King’s Bardic Champion: Master Matthew Grim (or his alter-ego, Grim the Skald)
Queen’s Bardic Champion: Lord Lucien de Pontivy

There were more than twenty participants in Round One. The field was narrowed by half for Round Two, then five contestants were selected for the third and Final Round, where the challenge was to compose an original performance in about 20 minutes. The other three final competitors were Lady Judith FitzHenry, Lord Martyn de Halliwell and Countess Mega (Marguerite).

More details of the day will be posted as we receive them. Stay tuned…

While I am very flattered to be named in the Gazette as a finalist in the Bardic Competition. I think that honor goes to the very talented Lady Judith Fitz Henry. Trust me, you would much rather hear her perform unless you really like the sound of a cat’s screeching while it nails are dragged down a black board.

Yours in service to the East,
    Judith the Confused
