Regional Fencing Practice, January 13 in Carolingia
On Sunday, January 13th the Barony of Carolingia will be hosting another EK Regional Fencing Practice from 11am to 5pm. Don Jerryd de Wayne has agreed to share his 5-man melee knowledge and teach tactics and strategies for 5-man units. For those unfamiliar with Don Jerryd, he has won five 5-Man tournaments at Pennsic over the years, although there’s rumors that that is a low ball estimate.
For those who prefer single fencing over melee, there will be plenty for pick up bouts, too. The practice will last for 6 hours.
The site is located at the War Memorial which is part of Cambridge Rindge and Latin school, located at 1640 Cambridge St., Cambridge, Massachusetts. Street parking is free on Sundays and there’s a lot located in the Harvard Vanguard building across the street from the school. Site fee is $5 that goes to the school. If you wear boots, make sure they don’t leave marks on the floor. More site info can be found at:

Want to teach? Lord Remy Delemontagne de Gascogne is also looking for anyone else who might have something they’d like to teach to everyone, be it melee or singles. If anyone wants to have a little session, let him know and he will work something out — if not for this practice perhaps for one of the future ones. Any idea is welcome from how to fence efficiently with a buckler to busting a kill pocket and everything in between.
If you have any questions, you can email Lord Remy Delemontagne de Gascogne
