Birka Merchant Applications close Nov. 15
If you are interested in selling your wares at Market Day at Birka (in Stonemarche, Jan. 25 & 26, 2013), the deadline for applying is Nov. 15, 2012.
Applications are accepted online at http://www.birka.org/Merchant.php by creating a merchant account on the site (or signing in if you already have one) and providing information about what you offer and what space you want. Applications are reviewed by a committee, and acceptance is based on several factors which can be reviewed on the website. (See the Merchant FAQ page.) Merchants must pay for their spaces after receiving their acceptance notice and before Dec. 31, 2012.
