Unofficial Court Report from Crown Tourney

In the Court of our most excellent prince and lord, Edward, second of that name, King of the East, and Thyra, his Queen, begun and held at the Shire of Endewearde, on 27 October A.S. 47, the following was publicly proclaimed:

Item.  Fighters and their consorts from across the Kingdom were summoned to tourney, there to compete for the right to stand as Heirs to the Tyger Throne.

Item.  Ivarr Raubison was elevated to the nobility and awarded Arms.

Item.  Rose de Bois was elevated to the nobility and awarded Arms.

Item.  Melisande de la Mer was elevated to the nobility and awarded Arms.

Item.  Thorvald Olaffson was elevated to the nobility and awarded Arms.

Thereupon, a great and wonderful tournament was commenced and many deeds of skill, valor, courtesy and chivalry were enacted upon the fields of Endewearde, to which end at the last Kenric of Essex, Eorl and cousin of the late King Kenric and now husband to the right good Countess Avelina Keyes and Gregor von Heisler, Duke and husband to the most excellent Countess Kiena Stewart met in combat for the Crown.  Duke Gregor did there emerge victorious and rightful heir to the Kingdom of the East, investing his Lady with the coronet of the Princess upon the field before the populace assembled.

Item.  In their court that evening, Their Majesties did then invest Prince Gregor and Princess Kiena as Prince and Princess of Tir Mara.

Item.  Their Majesties caused those good gentles new to our Society to be brought before the Tyger Thrones, and did gift each with tokens of the day.

Item.  Their Majesties summoned the children of the East Kingdom and shared with them toys donated by la Chambre des Dames d’Alisay.

Item.  In recognition and acknowledgement of his prowess, valor and courtesy upon the lists, Kenric of Essex was invested for the duration of Their Majesties’ reign with the title and station of the Admiral of the Armies and was further endowed with the Shield of Chivalry.

Item.  Their Majesties summoned the Ladies of the Rose and bade those good and gentle ladies to give such tokens to members of the populace as had distinguished themselves throughout the day with courtesy and nobility of manner:

Princess Kiena presented tokens to Lady Jocelyn della Spada and Lady Alanna of Skye for their service as list runners.

Countess Alethea Eastriding presented a token to Master Edward MacGyver Dos Scorpus.

Countess Avelina Keyes presented a token to Sir Oscad de Segovia.

Countess Svava Thorgeirsdottir presented a token to Baron Jibril al-Dakhil.

Countess Elspeth Keyf of Neddingham presented a token to Lord Richard Crowe.

Duchess Katherine Stanhope presented a token to Pan Jan Janowicz Bogdanski.

Item.  Their Majesties summoned before the Court William of Wyndhaven and did then award him Arms, the which deed was memorialized in a document by Nest verch Tangwystel.

Item.  Baroness Katarzyna Gwozdz, known to many as Varju, requested leave of Their Majesties to speak before the Court and, receiving said leave, did convey her thanks to all those fighters of the day who brought images of their armory to display on the list trees.

Item.  Their Majesties summoned Anelida Falconbridge before the Court and conveyed to her the gift of a document prepared by Edward MacGuyver dos Scorpos on behalf of the Unbelted Champions.

Item.  Their Majesties received the fealty of Mistress Fia Kareman.

Item.  Their Majesties commanded Gwyneth Rhudd to appear before them and, the good lady so appearing, did award her Arms, the which deed was memorialized in a document created by Lada Monguligin.

Item.  Washa of Tir appeared before the Court on behalf of the Shire of Smithwick and presented to Their Majesties a donation for the Royal Travel Fund.

Item.  Their Majesties commanded the presence of Agatha Wanderer before them and thereupon further commanded the presence of the members of their Order of the Manche.  In the presence of the aforesaid Order, their Majesties did invest Agatha with the signs and emblems of the aforesaid Order and command her to bear thereafter the said signs and emblems as evidence of her membership therein.  Agatha received in commemoration of this deed a document written by Varus Lucius Aurelius and inscribed by Saerlaith ingen Chennetig.
