Changes to Paperwork for Heraldic Submissions
An announcement from the Eastern Crown Herald:
Due to changes at the Society level, effective today, the paperwork required for heraldic submissions has changed. We are hopeful that these changes will make the process easier for submitters and consulting heralds.
We now need:
For name (personal name, award name, household name, etc.) submissions:
- One (1) copy of the form along with copies of any documentation that is not on the no-photocopy list.
Eastern Crown will accept name submissions and documentation by e-mail, as long as the forms are filled out correctly.
For armory (device, badge) submissions:
- One (1) copy of the armory form with a black and white outline drawing of the design; and
- Two (2) copies of the armory form (device, badge) colored in, using either Rose Art or Crayola brand magic markers OR computer printer ink that stays true to color.
If you are not completely sure that your printer’s inks remain true to color over a long period of time, you should use markers and color the forms by hand.
The cost for submissions processing has not changed. It is still $8.00 (US) per item, check or money order to be made out to “SCA, Inc. – East Kingdom”
The address for mailing forms and checks remains:
