For Fun: The catch’em all Pokémon challenge, radiant OGR Edition
I’m hoping this idea will appeal to your sense of fun and joie d’escrime, and strengthen our community.
OGRs all have an associated Pokémon and are therefore not only dashing and charming and deucedly dangerous, but shiny and collectible..We are creating a game for our fencing community to play that will broaden knowledge within our community.
The game: Everyone who is not an OGR or MOD, and who wishes to play, procures themselves a book and puts the list of OGRs/Pokémon in it.

During events and practices, if they can find one of us at the field and in our armor, then we have been collected. We put our name beside our Pokémon number as proof. If you manage five passes with us, or a conversation, then you get the upgraded shiny version of us and we will give you a star beside our name.
On the day of the tournament to choose my successor, I’ll invite you to present me with your book. Whoever collected the most of us will be declared as having caught them all and receive a special reward.
The east is huge, and some of us travel more than others. If anyone wants to go to Prince Edward Island or Nova Scotia, or out of Kingdom (to the west, or the outlands, or even Drachenwald) you’ve got the chance to collect the rarest of us. You may need to research to figure out who those are…
Some of us are nursing injuries or don’t fence much. Sometimes we are not feeling so social. We are going to ask the collectors to use their best judgement. If it looks like someone is taking a break, you should wait. At all other times, if you approach us respectfully with the book open, we will be ok with it.
