First Court Of Their Majesties Matthias And Æsa Feilinn at Their Coronation
In public consistory, at the time of the solemn and royal court held at Malagentia, a
brilliant assembly of dukes, counts and barons being in session, and a very great multitude of
nobles and commoners standing before the most serene lord Matthias, King of the East, and Æsa
feilinn, the Queen, for the purpose of exhibiting the fullness of justice to each person, the said
king and the said queen, according to law, did do and cause to be done the following:
Item. Queen Æsa feilinn commanded Katerina Falconer de Lanark to appear before her and take
Oath as the Captain of her Guard, and to present to her the other members of her Guard to
receive emblems of their station from her hand, to wit:

Item: Their Majesties invited their predecessors, Brennan Dux and Caoilfhionn Dux, before the
Tyger Throne to accept gifts and thanks for their good service to the East.
Item: Their Majesties charged Brennan Dux with running the Toybox to the great delight of the
children of the East.
Item: Their Majesties inducted Fayette des Rothenburg into the Company of Morpheus and
endowed her with the token of the said Company, being a vial of sand.
Item: Their Majesties presented to Aloysius Sartore a document memorializing his induction
into the Order of the Sagittarius, the said documented being authored by Matt Wyck and
inscribed by Colette d’Avignon.
Item: Their Majesties presented mugs as tokens of welcome to all newcomers to the Society.
Item: Their Majesties inducted Mægwynn filia Brun into the Order of the Silver Tyger, as
memorialized in a document authored by Aislinn Chiabach, calligraphed by Jonathan Blaecstan,
and illuminated by Ellesbeth Donofrey.
Item: Their Majesties commanded that Talan ap Gueiluirth appear before them and served
upon him a Writ commanding him to appear at Market Day at Birka to answer whether he would
join the Order of the Chivalry.
Item: Her Majesty told the tale of how it came about that certain heralds and scribes of the East
and Meridies conspired so that Meridies sent multiple most excellent and well-illuminated scroll
blanks to the East in our time of need, and willing and wishing that the kindness of the people of
Meridies be acknowledged and known to all, endowed the following persons with the Consort’s
Award of Esteem:

Item: Their Majesties summoned Deirdre Grenewode before the Tyger Throne and, praising
her great labors to produce a feast at Carolingian 50 Year Celebration despite the absence of
power and water on the site, endowed her with the Award of the Rabbit in the Moon and the
token of the said award.
Item: Noting that the service of the said Deirdre Grenewode is notable, of long standing and of
surpassing excellence, their Majesties then inducted her into the Order of the Silver Crescent,
to the great acclaim of the assembled companions thereof, as memorialized in a document
authored by Margreta Gyllenstierna and inscribed by Tola knýtir.
Item: Their Majesties summoned into their presence Keziah Planchet and served upon her a
Writ requiring her to appear at a mutually agreeable time and place to answer whether she would
join the Order of the Laurel.
Item: Their Majesties invited the steward of the day’s festivities, Mistress Molly Schofield, into
their Court, whereupon the said lady gave thanks to all those who labored to make the day
happen.
Whereupon, the business of Their Majesties being concluded, the Court was closed and the
assemblage adjourned.
I do hereby bear witness and upon the strength of my signature confirm that the aforesaid was
done upon 14 October, in the 58 th year of the Society.
