IMPORTANT: Birka Masking Clarification

There was an incorrect use of language when interpreting whether or not staff and merchants could require masking in their close proximity.

Staff and merchants can absolutely REQUEST people mask when people are in their area. They cannot REQUIRE it as it goes against the current Kingdom-wide Variance. They cannot turn someone away from a public/event space for not being masked.

I would hope people are respectful of these requests on both sides of the discussion and remain civil and courteous.

Please remember if you are experiencing any symptoms of illness, you should stay home from any events or activities.”
