Pennsic Order Meetings

Unto all who read these words do we Mohammad and Corotica, Prince and Princess of the East, send greetings.

With Pennsic officially here, we wished to address the Order meetings that are traditionally held each year during War Week.  We do indeed intend to hold meetings but due to time constraints we will be keeping all of the order meetings to 30 minutes.  They will be as follows:

Monday August 8

 

Thursday August 11

 

As to the format of each meeting, the agenda is as follows:

• Anything a particular Order would wish for us to consider in the coming months

• Issues the Order may wish to discuss either during the remainder of the meetings or on the discussions lists.

• Details on how our pollings will be run over the next several months:

  • 1 polling per month of up to 4 candidates

  • Poll will be released on the 15th of each month

  • Poll closing on the last day of the month

  • Starting Aug 22 and last poll being sent Jan 15 2023

• Responding to Pollings:

  • When abstaining on a particular candidate, please provide a reason in the comments section.  Reason’s help us better understand the overall feeling of the order

We will ensure that someone takes during each meeting and that a recap is sent to the respective lists after War.

We understand in the past, Pennsic meetings have been a place where possible candidates are also discussed.  In order to be as inclusive as possible (given the attendees at Pennsic are a smaller representation of each order) we ask that candidate discussions remain online.

If there are any questions, or if a particular order would like to meet with us at an event outside of Pennsic, please feel free to contact our Chief of Staff Mistress Tadea at 131693@mebers.eastkingdom.org  by Wednesday Aug 3 2022.  She will work with us to get that placed on our schedule.
