From the Outgoing Chancellor Minor
Unto the glorious Kingdom of the East, good tidings,
It has been my pleasure to serve you and our Youth as East Kingdom Chancellor Minor for these last four years. In that time we have experienced incredible joy, suffered tremendous loss, and overcame tremendous obstacles emerging in a new spring of hope and renewal.
Yesterday* on a beautiful spring day in the Barony of Dragonship Haven at Balfar’s Challenge I completed my final duty to the Kingdom presenting my successor, Lady Cecily de Inveresk to their Royal Majesties and watching her step up and swear fealty.
I am incredibly excited for the Youth of the East and their families. They are in excellent hands under Lady Cecily, a proud member of the Order of the Tigers Cub, who grew up within our beautiful Kingdom. She has wonderful ideas to implement to continue to improve the experience of our Kingdom’s Youth.
Many thanks to my deputies Erlan Nordenskald, Leonete D’Angely, Amee Le Morte, Eleanor Grey, Scheherazade, KisMaria, and Eginhard d’Aix la Chapelle. Special thanks also to Fiona the Volatile for all of her help making Tyger Camp a reality, and to Fiona, Eleanor, Agnes de Calais, Cassair niDiorrien, and all of the people of the East who contributed to making the Consort’s Youth Quest a success. Finally a huge thank you to Saravit of House Three Skulls for his diligent service as webminister to the Chancellor Minor’s Office.
