A note from the EK Seneschal

Good afternoon, East Kingdom,

I know many are eager to get back to anything that resembles events and seeing our friends, resuming the activities we miss. The Kingdom seeks to re-open safely and slowly, and how we handle the summer months will be crucial.

A reminder that all events MUST be formally approved before they can be listed; listing events prematurely runs the risk of needing to cancel it and a great deal of disappointment.

As stated in the Kingdom re-opening guidelines (https://seneschal.eastkingdom.org/docs/ResumingEvents.pdf), local seneschals must approve the safety plans for events.

For the time being, until at least July 15th, I am adding the requirement that the relevant regional seneschal must also be in the communication loop. Branch seneschals are still the first line of review, but the regional seneschal will take a second look before the event can be final.

If you are interested in running an event, please make sure you are up to date on the requirements.
