A Call from the Crown Herald: Medallions & Cording Needed
Good evening, East Kingdom!
I hope you all are headed in to the weekend with a smile on your face. I am, thanks to you! All of your comments about what you are thankful for made me smile!
As I continued planning out the next few months, and going through the medallion stock, I realized an additional need. Actually, a couple of them.
Because of the nature of Ethereal Courts, we do not have the ability to easily plan for medallions being made for friends or family. While we have copious stock of the Silver Level Awards, we are actually in need of the Orders of High Merit. We don’t normally keep a large stock of these on hand because often there are medallions for the recipient floating about behind them like magic!
In an effort to ensure everyone gets a medallion when I ship out their scrolls, I’d like to have 30-40 of each of the Orders of High Merit awards on hand. It’s a big ask, I know! But if you have it in you to toss a few of these in the mail, the Crown’s Herald would be forever grateful.
Also, we are in need of cording again. There is lots of plain black cording, but if people are so inclined, kumihimo cord, lucet cord and fingerloop braids would be lovely to have to include with the medallions. If you would like to make individual lengths, please plan on approximately 20 inches. With kumihimo and lucet cording, please feel free to keep on going, and I’ll cut as is necessary. While there is no specific color requirement and all are appreciated, Purple, Yellow, and Blue (and any combination of those three) are common!
If you would like to contribute to either of these needs, please reach out to me at court@eastkingdom.org and I’ll happily provide you with my address.
Thank you all again, for being an inspiration!
