Unofficial Court Report: Bhakail Yule
On Saturday, 9 December, AS 52, Their Majesties Ivan and Matilde, Tsar and Tsaritsa of the East, along with their Highnesses Brennan and Caoilfhionn, Prince and Princess of Tir Mara, did attend the Yule Revel in Renaissance Germany event, in their Barony of Bhakail.
Following Their Majesties’ Curia, a quick court was opened. Tsar Ivan and Tsaritsa Matilde requested the presence of Margretha La Fauvelle. Having previously received a writ to sit vigil, she was sent off to contemplate elevation to the Order of the Laurel.
Court was suspended, and there was much merriment during the event.
In the afternoon, court was reopened. Their Excellencies Rowen and Suba of Bhakail held court. Once that was complete, Their Majesties Ivan and Matilde continued with their court.

Additionally, Duke Roger of the West was summoned to run with the Children’s Toybox. When he could not be found, however, Their Majesties requested the presence of Morwill. But, Duke Roger appeared, and though possibly confused by a unique Eastern Tradition, he did take the toybox to exercise the children.
Sir Harald Hawkinson swore his fealty to the crown.
Angus Pembridge presented a tithe of honey to Their Majesties, Their Highnesses and Their Excellencies.
Business concluded, Their Excellencies Rowen and Suba thanked the musicians for performing throughout the day. Their Majesties and Their Highnesses added their thanks as well.
Thus was the court of Ivan and Matilde, Tsar and Tsaritsa of the East, closed.
