Court Of Their Majesties Matthias And Æsa Feilinn at Their Crown Tourney
In public consistory, at the time of the solemn and royal court held at Carolingia, a brilliant
assembly of dukes, counts and barons being in session, and a very great multitude of nobles and
commoners standing before the most serene lord Matthias, King of the East, and Æsa feilinn, the
Queen, for the purpose of exhibiting the fullness of justice to each person, the said king and the
said queen, according to law, did do and cause to be done the following:
Item: Their Majesties welcomed Their Heirs, Magnus Tindal and G. Emerson True, and
invested them with cloak and rings as Princes of Tir Mara, and endowed them with gifts in
celebration of their ascension and heirship.
Item: Their Majesties welcomed into their Court the Baron and Baroness of Carolingia, hosts of
the day, and gave them gifts of friendship.
Item: Their Majesties lauded the martial prowess of Pandarus and invested him with the title
and accoutrements of Admiral of the Armies of the East.
Item: Her Majesty Queen Æsa feilinn, His Highness Prince Emerson, and the assembled
Companions of the Order of the Rose gave tokens to the following gentles who demonstrated
courtesy and good countenance during the day’s tournament:

Item: Her Majesty granted keeping of the Shield of Chivalry to Sir Ketilfastr Thorkilson, who
fought and was fought for in the day’s tournament.
Item: Their Majesties invited Iris of Strangewayes and Howard of Strangewayes to stand
before the Tyger Thrones and thereupon inducted them into the Order of the Tyger’s Cub. The
merit of the said Iris was set forth in a document created by Emma Makilmone and Aleksei
Dimitriev. The worthiness of the said Howard was likewise set forth in a document authored by
Aislinn Chiabach, calligraphed by Aleksei Dimitriev, illuminated by Emma Makilmone, with
expert consultation provided by Akamatsu Katsumoto and Akamatsu Tora, and song performed
by Ryan Mac Whyte.
Item: Their Majesties summoned into their august presence Mikjáll bogmaðr, the Kingdom
Exchequer. As thanks for the said Mikjáll’s long and hardy labors for the benefit of the
Kingdom, His Majesty endowed him with his Award of Esteem. The term of the said Mikjáll’s
office having come to its natural end, he was dismissed with the thanks of the Kingdom.
Item: Baroness Arlyana van Wyck was then called before Their Majesties and took oath as the
new Kingdom Exchequer.
Item: Their Majesties called before the Tyger Thrones their good subject Matthias von
Würzburg, who has long served as Kingdom Web Minister. In token of the said Matthias’s
good service and great kindess, Their Majesties endowed him with the Sovereign’s Award of
Esteem and the Consort’s Order of Courtesy. The term of the said Matthias’s service being at
an end, he was dismissed with the thanks of the Kingdom.
Item: Master Symon of Barnesdale was summoned then before Their Majesties and took oath
as the new Kingdom Web Minister.
Item: Their Majesties called Charlotte Larcheyr de Charly, formerly known as Charlotte of
Lewes into their Court and, praising her good works, endowed her with an Award of Arms, the
which deed was memorialized in a document created by Jan Janowicz Bogdanski.
Item: Their Majesties requested the presence of Nicasia Leontodes and, that good gentle so
appearing, invested her with an Award of Arms so that all might know her good works, the
which deed was memorialized in a document created by Aliton of Harstone and Nest verch
Tangwistel.
Item: Their Majesties invited Vlad Iliescu to present himself before the Tyger Throne,
whereupon they inducted him into the Company of Morpheus for his work documenting the life
of the Society in images and endowed him with the token thereof.
Item: Their Majesties having further business with Vlad Iliescu, they commanded him to tarry,
and thereupon gifted him with the Award of Durga for the great martial prowess demonstrated
in the day’s tourney.
Item: Their Majesties then caused a document to be read before the assembled Court
proclaiming that Óláfr inn ǫrvi Haraldsson, known as Olaf Haraldson, be invested and
endowed with the Order of the Maunche. The said document was created by Faolán an
Screcain. The document and the sigils of the said Order shall be presented to the said Olaf at a
time and place of Their Majesties’ convenience.
Item: Their Majesties called Ameria Brown to stand before the Tyger Throne, whereupon they
proclaimed her great skill in the art of throwing weapons, and her service to that art, by token of
which they caused her to be inducted into the Order of the Silver Mantle, the said deed being
memorialized in document authored by Cat Spoonbreakder and calligraphed and illuminated by
Lily Aubrey.
Item: Their Majesties summoned before them the noble Bella di Sicilia, whom the Crown
lauded and praised for great and good service to the Kingdom. Whereupon, Their Majesties
summoned the Order of the Silver Wheel and invested the said Bella with the sigil of the Order
aforenamed, along with a document memorializing the same created by Fayette des Rothenburg
and Octavia Valeria.
Item: The Order of the Silver Wheel being as yet incomplete, Their Majesties called Erzsébet
Csesztvei and invested and endowed her with membership in the same, the which deed being
memorialized in a document authored by Allyn min Teanga, calligraphed by Mickel von Salm,
and illuminated by Oxrênida of the Aorsi.
Item: On behalf of the people of the East, who had labored greatly that day, Crown Prince G.
Emerson True begged a boon of Their Majesties that all good folk of the East should have one
additional hour of sleep that night. Their Majesties being ever just and ever diligent, declared
that it should be so.
I do hereby bear witness and upon the strength of my signature confirm that the aforesaid was
done upon 4 November, being the feast of Saint Modesta, in the 58 th year of the Society.
