Knowne World Historic Combat Studies Symposium at Lilies War June 7-11, 2019
Come join us in the heartland for the SCA’s first symposium for studying the arts and sciences aspect of historic combat! The symposium will take place as part of the opening weekend of Lilies War (June 7-16) and provide a series of focused classes and hands on workshops focused on the A&S side of medieval and renaissance combat.
These topics include but are not limited to the study of historic combat techniques – including weapons and techniques that are not part of SA marshal activities; military history; and the creation of armor, weapons, archery equipment, and equestrian equipment.
Fighting activities (rattan, fencing, and archery) will emphasize the historic aspects of combat and attendees will also be welcome to join Calontir for everything else that Lilies War has to offer! Plenty of camping space is available and dogs are allowed.
