Preparing for the Kingdom A&S Champions Competition
Attention Artisans and Scientists of the East!
While we don’t yet have a date for A&S Champs this year, it’s never too early to start thinking about your project if you are interested in competing! I came across a Facebook memory on my feed this morning showing that on this day three years ago, I started working on my project for the 2020 A&S champs. So, if you are considering entering the Kingdom A&S champs in 2023, I strongly encourage you to start brainstorming now! The competition usually takes place in February or March.
To help you get started, the Ministry of Arts and Sciences has a wealth of resources available. First of all, it is critical that artisans interested in this competition read through the Kingdom rubric. We have three different rubrics, depending on the type of project you are doing: the general rubric, the research rubric, and the performance rubric. All three can be found here: https://moas.eastkingdom.org/displays-competitions/east-kingdom-as-rubrics/
If you’d like a more in-depth discussion of the rubric, be sure to check out our MoAS classes on the East Kingdom YouTube channel:
