The Last Court of Kenric and Avelina
After six glorious months as our King and Queen, Their Majesties Kenric and Avelina held their last court on October 1, in the 51st year of the Society. What follows is an unofficial account of the proceedings.
Fiona O’Maille, Eleanor MacCarthaigh, and Saerlaith ingen Taithlig were recognized with the Queen’s Award of Esteem.
Culann mac Cianain was gifted with the King’s Cypher and a scroll by Marieta Charay.
The King’s Cypher was bestowed upon Lottieri Malocchio and he was given a scroll made by Fiona O’Maille.
Mercedes de Calafia was presented with the King’s Cypher and a scroll by Emma Makilmone.
The Queen’s Cypher was given to Eleanor le Brun along with a scroll made by Shoshana Gryffyth.
Alesone Gray of Cranleigh received the Queen’s Cypher and a scroll made by Shoshana Gryffyth.
The work of Catalina de Valencia was recognized with the Queen’s Cypher and a scroll by Caera Fitzpatrick
A Court Barony was bestowed upon Pagan Graham who also received the King’s Cypher and a scroll by Cassandra Arques.
Eleanor MacCarthaigh was presented with the King’s Cypher and a scroll by Svea the Short Sighted.
Amia Turner received the Queen’s Cypher and a scroll by Aesa Lokabrenna Sturladottir.
Fiona O’Maille was recognized with the King’s Cypher and a scroll by Heather Rose de Gordoun.
The King’s Cypher was given to Edmund of Hertford along with a scroll made by Eowyn Eilonwy of Alewife Brook.
Sabina Lutrell was honored with the Queen’s Cypher and a scroll by Triona Maccasky with calligraphy by Ian Douglas
Fergus Redmead was presented with the King’s Cypher and a scroll by Lionor Luis Daguiar. Fergus was also recognized with the Queen’s Cypher and a scroll by Triona Maccasky with calligraphy by Ian Douglas.
Meadhbh inghean Cheallaigh earned the King’s Cypher and a scroll by Juliote de Castlenou D’Arry, as well as the Queen’s Cypher given with a scroll made by Brangwyne of Wentworth.
Cormac MacEamon was gifted with both the King’s Cypher and the Queen’s Cypher. The King’s Cypher scroll was made by Fiona O’Maille, and the Queen’s Cypher scroll was made by Aesa Lokabrenna Sturladottir.
The King’s Cypher was presented to Donovan Shinnock in a scroll made by Eadaoin Chruitire. Donovan also received the Queen’s Cypher and a scroll made by Lada Monguligin.
Thorleifr Hvitskegg was recognized as a Tailor to the Crown and given a scroll by Saerlaith ingen Chennetig
Mirabel Bel Chere was recognized as a Weaver to the Crown and given a scroll by Onora ingheann Ui Rauirc.
Violante do Porto was recognized as a Weaver to the Crown and given a scroll by Triona Maccasky.Violante was also given the King’s Award of Esteem.
Connor Boddy was awarded the Silver Tyger and a scroll by Charis Accipiter.
Hildemar von Regnesburg was inducted into the Order of the Silver Crescent and was given a scroll by Melisande of the Gryphon Wood that included calligraphy by Jonathan Blaecstan.
Lavina Attewode was granted arms and a Court Barony.
Lottieri Malocchio received a Court Barony and a scroll by Nataliia Anastasiia Evgenova Sviatoslavina vnuchka.
Clothilde von der Insel was recognized with an Augmentation of Arms and a scroll by Jonathan Blaecstan.
